Practitioners working with families experiencing Domestic Abuse (You should have attended previous Domestic Abuse training or have knowledge of Domestic Abuse definitions and the impact on families
Learning outcomes
- Build on previous knowledge of DV to identify risk factors in relation to Domestic Abuse
- Identify high risk cases of Domestic Abuse, stalking and honour-based violence
- Explain how to complete the DASH risk checklist
- Outline the role of IDVA’s & MARAC
- Identify the key principles of safety planning with victims of Domestic Abuse
- Identify the support and safety options available for victim/survivors
