Training objectives
Learning outcomes
This course is delivered over 2 x 2.5 hour sessions. 


• Understanding factors that influence teenagers’ cognitive, emotional and social development

• Understanding anxiety in young people

• Young people’s experiences of depression

• Self-harm and minimisation strategies

• Understanding ADHD

• Building resilience

• Direct work tools and skills practice


The course will be run using interactive and informative methods to include PowerPoint presentations, group discussion/reflections, videos, and case studies.

There is no pre-reading/watching, however, delegates will be given additional optional material to engage with post training.
