Aimed at Social Workers and Child Care Practitioners.
This course draws upon materials created by the National Children’s Bureau, British Association of Adoption and Fostering, SCIE, Family Futures Consortium, American Humane, and Barnardos’ Policy and Research Unit, and the Department for Education’s Achieving Permanence training programme, 2017. It incorporates recommendations from The Care Inquiry (2013). Special acknowledgement is also owed to the National Children’s Bureau’s training resource “Care Planning for Looked After Children” and to Professor Angie Hart’s inspiration for “Ordinary Magic”.
